Project Blue Book is a series on History that follows the real-life investigation of supposed UFO encounters and unexplained phenomena undertaken by the United States Air Force with skeptical astrophysics professor — and eventual ufologist — Dr. J. Allen Hynek in the 1950s and 1960s. Dr. Hynek and his partner, Air Force veteran Captain Michael Quinn, investigate sightings across the U.S., and Dr. Hynek realizes that some things cannot be explained by science alone.
